Welcome
Welcome to the heavenly world of Roisin Cross Silks, a business established by Roisin Cross in 1979 and subsequently taken over by the current Director of the business, Judith O’Sullivan.
Under Judith’s director, this successful and uniquely personal business has maintained its reputation for the importation and supply of the very finest silks in the world and for excellence, integrity and quality. This has allowed for the business to maintain its discerning and loyal established client base and focus on our ever growing new client base.
However RCS is now much more that an importer and supplier of sumptuous silks in mouth watering colours in crepe chiffon, organza's and taffeta's.
RCS now offers a dress design service lead by Ann Flavin, a designer renowned for her flair, creativity and her ability to nurture individual client’s ideas and needs and capture individual style.
RCS is also now well established in offering high quality dress making, curtain making and children’s sewing courses and will soon be introducing course participants to our new lead tutor, Sarah Foy. Students will continue to enjoy a fun and social environment coupled with a highly productive environment for learning.
The new collection of silks will arrive mid /late October and the much respected Milan Fashion House – Collezioni has predicted that the current popular sense of sobriety will be reflected by beautiful greys for 2011.
RCS is also delighted and feels privileged that the national media continues to show such interest in our business. The TV3/ Xpose team was recently welcomed to the RCS show rooms in Dun Laoire and interviews with Ann Flavin and Judith O’Sullivan were featured on Xpose in June 2010.
RCS sewing courses for transition year students were also featured in Gloss magazine in January 2010 and the beautiful world of silks and our business was featured in the Sunday Independent in May 2010 in an article titled ‘Not as smooth as silk’.
RCS was also honored to recently supply silks to a theatre production company called Rough Magic for the ‘Importance of Being Earnest’ in which US actress Stockard Channing starred.
So whether you are a silk customer, in need to a dress design or curtain making service, a potential student of dress or curtain making or a hungry journalist searching for a unique fashion story, RCS can look after your needs and interests.
