Ann Flavin Biog

Ann Flavin, a dress designer of immense flair and creativity joined the team at Roisin Cross Silks (RCS) in September 2009 but has been taking commissions from RCS clients since May 2009.

Ann trained as a dress designer at Grafton Academy and under the guidance of her mother who was also a designer with an excellent reputation.

Following her graduation from Grafton Academy, Anne and her mother opened a dress designing enterprise in Dun Laoghaire called Lorann in 1987, which they ran successfully together for 13 years.

Following the closure of Lorann, Ann took some time off to look after her two children and then eagerly returned to the dress designing business.

Ann quickly established a significant following largely generated through word of mouth in South Dublin and previous clients of Lorann, which was a testament to her unique skill and capability.

Her specialist expertise now lies in the design of wedding dresses and evening and party wear for special occasions. She greatly enjoys researching trends and styles, working with clients from concept development, inspiring confidence in clients who may feel a little intimidated by the dress designing business and delivering on a dress that will truly inspire confidence and happiness.

Ann looks forward to many years of looking after clients in association with RCS and to producing truly magnificent creations in rich silks, across opulent colours.
